HOMECOMING

Food experiences For The Community

Homecoming ignites exploration of local New York City neighborhood businesses through immersive experiences with food and cultural storytelling.

A STORY BEHIND EVERY RESTAURANT

When we started Homecoming, we believed that if we told the stories of the restaurants that represent the spirit of a neighborhood, we would find a community of New Yorkers who would want to support Queens neighborhoods… and we did.

EXPERIENCE THE Flavors of the neighborhood

We’ve taken you to Elmhurst, Jackson Heights, and Woodside to taste the unique flavors that built those diverse communities, and we look for new ways to create community through food.

Community Partners

Stay connected with our community partners by supporting their work!

Community Center Services Organization Corp

Oscar Escobar started Community Center Services Organization (Community CSOC) in Jackson Heights in July 2020 to provide a weekly pantry distribution to the neighborhood. Working in partnership with La Jornada, América Viva, and the 34th Street Open Street Coalition, they serve as many as 1,000 neighbors a week on the open street at Travers Park.

A donation of just $16 can help cover the average cost of a set of groceries for families in the neighborhood.
